“I’d been hiding behind my weight for so long that I lost myself. In July 2014 I weighed 413. The most I’d ever weighed in my life. Had it not been for a Facebook photo someone posted of me at a party, I would not have known how bad I really looked.

Jeremy has been a great friend for quite some time and always said ‘I’m here when you are ready to get serious.’ By August, I was ready and made the call. It was a tough transition.

But Jeremy always said it was going to be ok. So, we managed my food with check-in text messages all day. Every meal/snack I reported. If I wanted to make a change I had to be honest, first with myself and then with Jeremy. It helped. If I didn’t feel comfortable reporting it, I probably shouldn’t eat it. Well it worked. Through many adjustments, because not everything marked healthy really is, I learned how to be much more creative with my food. It wasn’t easy letting go but I see the results.

After six months of hard work I’m 46 pounds lighter and still going. Forty-six pounds gone because of proper eating. No diet pills, no gym workouts, just basic walking because, trust me, I needed to lose weight so I could walk more than one mile without wanting to die!

Jeremy is tough when he needs to be but sensitive enough to listen when you are about to quit and will give you the strength not to. I’ve dieted, had a personal trainer, and spent hundreds of dollars for a gym membership; but I didn’t have the results then, that I see now. He gives his all and treats each client like the special person they are.

“I had just turned 22 and I was at a point in my life where I couldn’t stand the sight of myself in the mirror. The scale tipped at 300 pounds and I was clueless as to what to do.
